What are the different field types?

Annotation forms in Review allow you to collect specific types of information during the review process. Here are the different field types available for annotation forms:

  1. Single Line Text: Use this field type to capture short, single-line text entries, such as names, titles, or brief descriptions.
  2. Multi-line Text: This field type is ideal for collecting longer text entries that may span multiple lines, such as comments, descriptions, or detailed explanations.
  3. Date: Choose the date field type to prompt reviewers to select a specific date from a calendar widget, useful for capturing deadlines, milestones, or other date-related information.
  4. Number: Utilize the number field type to collect numerical values, such as quantities, measurements, or ratings. Reviewers can input numeric data directly into this field.
  5. Single Select: With the single select field type, reviewers can choose one option from a predefined list of choices. You can customize this field by adding different options that tailor it to your specific needs.

Adding Options to ‘Single-Select’ Field Type

  1. Click on the Options Button: In the fields table, locate the single-select field type you wish to customize. Next to the field, you'll find an "Options" button. Click on this button to open a pop-up window where you can manage options.

  2. Add Option: Within the pop-up window, find and click on the "Add Option" button to initiate the process of adding a new option.

  3. Name Option: In the input field provided, enter the name or label for the new option you wish to add to the single-select field.

  4. Repeat for Additional Options: If you have more options to add, continue clicking the "Add Option" button and entering the names for each additional option.

  5. Manage Options: Once all desired options are added, you can manage them further. Each option typically has actions associated with it, such as edit, duplicate, or delete. You can also rearrange the order of options by dragging them within the pop-up window.
